Position Description Technical Project Manager with energy industry experience preferred. This position requires extensive technical experience ensuring that project requirements and scope are met and quality, schedule, budget, resources and risks are managed. You must possess proven competence in producing a high level of detail, building relationships and driving results to meet or exceed business objectives and timelines. Success in this role will require an accomplished professional to build and maintain working relationships with team members, customers, vendors and other departments involved in the projects. Your future duties and responsibilities Monitor project task execution from assigned project resources and manage resulting risks and issues. Collaborate with Program Support Analyst to model schedule impact on a weekly basis and determine mitigation steps for recovery to minimize schedule risks and budget impact. Perform technical assessments on issues, prioritize actions and facilitate resolution to closure with appropriate escalation as required. Interact with project contributors to analyze emerging risks and lead the qualitative analysis to prioritize mitigation strategy. Influence and identify improvement opportunities for project execution. Ensure appropriate use of project documentation in line with program standards. Document, monitor and update resulting actions, issues and risks using established tools such as the Unifier Project Log and Risk Logs. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Candidates with Utilities/Energy industry preferred. Candidates should be extremely self driven and will naturally take charge and ownership of tasks/activities/deliverables. Highly collaborative. Experience should include expertise in ensuring timeliness and quality of the team deliverables including month-end processing, invoicing, in-servicing, portfolio reporting, KPI reporting, risk reserve management, portfolio planning, and continual process improvements. Knowledge in supporting PMO Delivery teams with resource onboarding and access provisioning, project repository set-up, project set-up, administration, and closure. Build your career with us.
