view the opportunity below.As a Business Banking Team Leader you
will lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers, Business
Development Officers, Portfolio Managers, and support staff with a
focus on business development, relationship management, and
portfolio oversight. This role involves driving P&L performance
across multiple markets, ensuring compliance with Associated
Banc-Corp's credit policies, and maintaining regulatory standards.
Depending on the market, the Team Leader may also be involved in
direct sales and portfolio management.This person will also be
responsible for:
- Team Leadership & Performance: Manage and coach team members,
setting annual performance goals, conducting assessments, and
facilitating training. Lead the team in business development,
ensuring resources are deployed efficiently.
- Business Development: Directly or through the team, initiate
and maintain business relationships to grow the bank's loan,
deposit, and fee income. Act as a deal team leader on substantial
new business opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Oversee relationship
activities, engage with key accounts, and cross-sell non-credit
bank services. Ensure that client portfolios are well-managed and
in compliance with bank policies.
- Risk Management: Work closely with Relationship and Portfolio
Managers to monitor loan repayment activities, assess financial
conditions, and ensure the credit quality of the loan
portfolio.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Director of Business
Banking to establish and execute annual business strategies,
including budgeting and business reviews.
- Community Involvement: Represent the bank in community,
business, and industry-specific functions, and serve on boards as
applicable.Review the qualifications listed below:Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related
discipline. RequiredExperience
- 7-10 years of Commercial, Corporate or Specialized Banking
experience. RequiredLicenses and Certifications
