Job Description:
A company is looking for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to
support the deployment of scalable software for industrial
steam-generating heat pumps.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and support MATLAB/Simulink tools for engineering teams
Create complex physics-based models for heat pumps and enhance
automation tools
Interface with controls teams and manage codebase in a version
control system
Required Qualifications
B.S. in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer
science, or related discipline
3+ years of experience in functional/physical model development in
MATLAB and Simulink
Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid
dynamics
Experience in source code management using Git, Subversion, or
similar platforms
Experience in developing steady-state and dynamic physics-based
models for thermo-mechanical systems
