Our vision, building partnerships that last, applies to our employees as well as our customers.This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, repairing, and performing other tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe and engine systems and components.Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift availableSalary: $27.00 - $40.00Responsibilities of this position include:

• Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs of a complex nature on various aircraft systems and components.
• Efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and function test referencing manufacturer's technical documents across a variety of airframe, engine, and component systems.
• Lead aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and Supervisor.
• Expertly prepare and complete various documents for maintenance/modification record keeping purposes, as required by FAA Airworthiness Regulations, Elliott Aviation Policies and Processes, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, and personal training logs (OJT).
• Proficiently and consistently locate and use the appropriate technical data to accomplish any and all tasks.
• Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State, and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation's Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes.
• Perform related duties, as assigned.Top candidates will possess:

  • Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to work.Other Requirements Include:
    • Airframe & Powerplant Certificate required.
    • Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements.
    • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
    • Must obtain & retain designation as an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue stamp).
    • High school graduate or equivalency degree required.
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145.
