Hearth & Home Technologies is hiring a Director, Sales
Operations for the Stove business unit located in Lakeville, MN. In
this role, you will be the support engine behind the sales team's
productivity and effectiveness for the Stove business unit. This
role is responsible for enabling and ensuring the highest level of
productivity of the sales team by supporting sales strategy,
driving sales process and tool optimization. The Director, Sales
Operations - Stoves is also responsible for leading the development
of new processes to support the sales function through different
channels. Additionally, this leader will be responsible for leading
the sales support and inside sales teams. As a trusted advisor,
this role will partner closely with sales leadership to continually
deliver efficiencies for their team. What you will do:
- Develop and lead a high performing Sales Operations team
focused on supporting sales team to increase execution and
velocity.
- Develop and enhance sales support capabilities by demonstrating
hands-on management that identify areas of excellence and foster an
environment of continuous improvement through the coaching and
development of staff and improving processes.
- Develop channel specific processes to support sales in those
channels.
- Establish standard work for sales support and inside sales
roles.
- Experience identifying gaps in effectiveness, creating
comprehensive recommendations, and implementing strategies to
optimize the performance of the sales team.
- Monitor performance trends and recommend new strategies in
partnership with sales leadership.
- Develop, manage, monitor, and optimize key reporting
capabilities that drive actionable insights.
- Create and analyze leading and lagging indicators to identify
gaps and opportunities to improve sales team performance.
- Provide sales leadership with reporting on sales member and
account performance.
- Create collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
including Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Talent
Development.
- Capture and evaluate the impact and ROI of programs to drive
future enhancements.
- In close partnership with the Talent Development team,
coordinate sales process training for the sales organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
- 10 or more years of demonstrated experience in the areas of
sales operations, finance and/or sales
- 3 or more years of experience directly leading teams
- Proven track record of building successful sales operations
teams
- Demonstrated problem-solving experience
- Strong understanding of the capture and utilization of data to
drive increased sales performance and revenue attainment
- Strong experience creating reports and dashboards on key sales
metrics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills
- Process development skills, particularly in new areas where
there isn't an existing playbook
- Ability to leverage CRM (Salesforce) to provide analytics
support and metrics to further enable and support the sales
team
- Advanced modeling skills with a passion for using data to drive
better decision-making
