Job Description:
As a Principal Product Manager at Epicor, you will lead the
strategic direction and execution of our AI-powered products and
solutions across our Cognitive ERP portfolio. You will drive
innovation in large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented
generation (RAG), and AI-enhanced user experiences. Your role will
be key in shaping our product roadmap, collaborating across teams,
and delivering intelligent, customer-centric solutions that drive
measurable impact at scale.What you will be doing:
- Defining and driving the strategic direction, vision, and
priorities for AI applications and features within Epicor's
Cognitive ERP.
- Managing the full product lifecycle-from ideation through
launch and ongoing enhancements-by collaborating closely with
cross-functional teams.
- Orchestrating a multi-year AI product roadmap in partnership
with executive leadership, development teams, and business
stakeholders.
- Balancing the delivery of new AI features with enhancement
requests based on customer feedback, usability insights, and market
trends.
- Evaluating and updating pricing models using customer value
analysis and ROI assessments.
- Leading cross-functional team meetings, aligning engineering,
data science, UX, and marketing on product priorities.
- Supporting go-to-market strategies by working with Product
Marketing to develop positioning, demos, enablement materials, and
customer references.
- Engaging directly with customers and advisory groups to gather
feedback, validate product directions, and ensure alignment with
real-world needs.
- Staying current with AI/ML and GenAI trends and technologies,
identifying opportunities for integration into product development
processes and experiences.What you will likely bring:
- 10+ years of progressive product management experience with a
strong track record of successful product launches.
- 4+ years of specialized experience working in AI, machine
learning, or intelligent automation domains.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business,
or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in customer empathy, user-centered design, value
proposition development, and product validation.
- Strong business acumen and experience performing ROI analysis
and strategic pricing evaluations.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering,
UX, marketing, and data science.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software
development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with SaaS products and cloud-based AI
architectures.What could set you apart:
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or a Master's in AI/ML.
- Basic proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, C#) and ability
to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow,
PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with GenAI tooling including prompt engineering,
RAG, and model evaluations.
- Exposure to ETL pipelines, data engineering concepts, and
supporting infrastructure.
- Experience with ERP platforms, ERP migrations, or customer
support systems.
- A visionary, "founder mode" mindset-comfortable owning
end-to-end outcomes and solving complex problems with
