JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is seeking a seasoned product manager to spearhead our Rate Tool capabilities within our Customer Acquisition Platform. This role will create the vision and strategy around set of capabilities that allow our clients and employees to quickly and easily support entry and offer capabilities that support our enterprise Digital Application platform. The aim is to not only provide customer and employee experiences across products and channels to drive acquisition but also ensure cost avoidance by finding reusability across the enterprise.

This product manager will be part of an agile team to deliver in a highly complex environment supporting various business lines and working with stakeholders across the organization. The role is responsible for all aspects of platform product management - defining vision and strategy, prioritization, roadmap, end-to-end product management - discovery, design, product development, launch, commercialization and product support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to define product experiences and capabilities that align with segment and enterprise strategies.
Clearly define objectives and key results that tie to business priorities.
Communicate with key stakeholders how product capabilities deliver on their priorities.
Leveraging Business line input, user feedback and data, ensure the team's backlogs are prioritized in a manner that best meets the platforms objectives and delivers on key results.
Inspire a broad and deep knowledge of KPI usage for data-driven decision making across the digital organization. Direct teams to tie tangible numbers to how they drive the strategic priorities of the organization.
Proactively anticipate and manage risks associated with the Platform.
Encourage the right balance of risk to maintain organizational innovation and competitiveness.
Clearly communicate risks, challenges the team is facing in execution. Resolve roadblocks for team in a timely manner that allows us to deliver on-time.
Work with product, design, and operations teams to deliver innovative ways to serve our learners.
Supports what products to make, ensuring those products get made and reporting back on how users respond to products.
Works with partners like engineering and design teams to strategically plan products and their development
Works with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples and becomes an expert with respect to the competition.
Demonstrated ability as a technical product manager, product owner, or solutions architect.
Proven experience as a software engineer, data engineer or SDET.
Technical fluency - Ability to understand, discuss, and challenge architectural concepts, trade offs, and new opportunities with technical team members. Understand technical issues well enough to make the right decisions about prioritizing not only new product features but also reducing technical debt or improving resiliency.
Excellent written and verbal communication of ideas, narratives and complex technical information to a broad audience including, but not limited to: executives, stakeholders and engineers.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Extensive experience working in large scale customer acquisition platform environments and solutions.
Demonstrated product and technology domain knowledge and expertise in acquisition through digital + human touchpoints.
Experience leading an agile team as a product manager within the financial services industry, with deep business knowledge.
Deep digital product management experience across a variety of relevant products.
Excels working with large teams and cross functional stakeholders.
Results-oriented product manager who has led with agile ways of working mindset.
Ability to communicate ideas crisply and clearly.
Curious mind with problem solving ability.
Strong analytical mindset and back all your decisions with strong numbers
Strong partnership skills and leadership through influence, with direct experience managing in a highly matrixed environment
