JOB LOCATION:

JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for managing commercial dairy farm. Specific duties include: (1) supervising and evaluating animal health; (2) managing farm employees to ensure proper animal health and welfare protocols are followed; (3) training farm employees on proper protocols, including on animal health protocols; (4) performing detailed recordkeeping on dairy herd; (5) analyzing animal health, reproduction, and related data on Dairy Comp 305 and DelPro software.



REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related; two years of livestock industry experience, including specific background in animal health and reproduction; Proficiency with Dairy Comp 305, Delpro, and Microsoft Office Suite. Weekly travel to unanticipated farm sites in central Minnesota to oversee production and ensure compliance with protocols (no overnight travel). Housing benefit available.



ANNUAL SALARY: $68,245 - $84,000
