Job Description:

As the Director of Enterprise Business Development, youll enable and lead inorganic transactions such as acquisitions, strategic investments, enterprise-scale partnerships and divestitures. Youll collaborate with external and internal business partners across the full transaction life cycle, from strategy and investment thesis formulation through potential exit or divestiture. If you have natural curiosity to understand Best Buys strategy, external environments and markets, this role is right for you.

What youll do

• Analyze and evaluate inorganic transactions across a variety of strategic and financial frameworks
• Influence behavior across all functions and levels of the company, up to and including executive leadership
• Employ a continuous improvement mindset to evolve our business development playbook and systems
• Uncover and activate on the inorganic opportunities that bring velocity to our enterprise strategy and priorities
• Build and develop relationships with external partners (i.e. investment banks, inorganic targets, industry experts and consultants)
  Basic qualifications
  
  • 5 years business development experience in corporate development, investment banking, finance, legal or related fields
  • 5 years of business development or corporate development experience with success across the transaction life cycle (strategic thesis through exit)
    Preferred qualifications
    
    • Masters Degree
    • 10 years of business development or corporate development experience with increasing personal impact and transaction complexity
