The Correctional Nurse provides essential patient care in the St. Croix County Jail, delivering medical services while adhering to state regulations. This part-time position offers flexible evening shifts, promising a balanced work life and opportunities for additional PRN shifts. Ideal candidates will possess critical thinking skills and experience in administering medications and establishing nursing plans according to established treatment protocols.

Location: -St. Croix County Jail

Open Position: - -PT LPN or RN Evenings

Schedule: -3- - 8 hr Evening shifts per week, 2p - 10p

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
