Lake Ridge Care Center, a 5-star, 56-bed facility, is currently seeking a Part-Time Cook/Culinary Aide to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents. This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working a varied scheduled including weekends. You will work every other weekend as a cook and as a culinary aide during the week.

Cook Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30pm every other Saturday and Sunday
Culinary Aide Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (2-4 days per pay period)

Pay: $17.04 - $22.90 / hour depending on experience
What does a Cook/Culinary Aide do?

• Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
• Prepare and assist cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.What does a Cook/ Culinary Aide require?
  • Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred, but not required. We'll train you!
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
