Works on moderate to complex tasks in support of one or more projects that require a singular area of expertise. Works as a project team member with engineering and business team members, or independently on small projects.Position Description

  • Respond to and troubleshoot incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime for the business.
  • Work closely with development, operations, QA and end user teams to foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
  • Provide support and guidance to development teams on best practices for infrastructure and deployment.
  • Maintain issue documentation and support the system.
  • Responsible for infrastructure upgrades and patches.
  • Work effectively within a given development framework (Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, etc.)
  • Participate in project planning and perform estimates as necessary.
  • Document requirements, specifications, and solutions as needed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure code is delivered reliably and efficiently.
  • Maintain and improve the scalability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
  • Implement security best practices in the development and deployment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement scripts or tools to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance automation capabilities.QualificationsPosition RequirementsExperience & Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3 years of programming/scripting experience with moderate depth of knowledge.
  • Experience working in applications, systems, or IT operations.Languages:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Software development/scripting skills in languages such as C/C++, SQL, XML.
  • Ability to create and modify stored procedures and related processes for creation of client reports for billing purposes.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Ability to work a flexible shift such as off working hours/weekends.
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment.
  • Experience with corporate travel.
  • Experience in using ServiceNow for Issue/Release management.
  • Knowledge of MS SQL.
  • Knowledge of SABRE from a travel management perspective.
  • Knowledge of DOD systems such as IRATS, NROWS.
  • Knowledge of Delphi.
  • Requires working knowledge of two or more programming languages.
  • Overall Linux and Windows knowledge.
  • General networking knowledge - server, firewalls, VPNs and proxies.
  • Knowledge of an agile team environment and process.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed system.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent learner.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
