Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Back End Developer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: We are looking for a talented Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic Enterprise API Management team. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining components related to our enterprise gateway strategy and token services. Your contributions will include writing clear and maintainable code, adhering to test-driven development practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. You will also be involved in documentation, issue triaging, and collaborating across teams. The technologies you will work with include Java (with a focus on reactive Java), Spring Boot, relational database designs, and OAuth flows, all within an Agile development environment.

Qualifications:

Java Programming: 5 years of experience
Spring Boot: 5 years of experience
Docker: 2 years of experience
REST API Development: 3 years of experience
Database Design: 3 years of experience

Preferred:

Strong team collaboration abilities
Experience with Reactive Java
Proficiency in Test-Driven Development
Advanced database design skills
Familiarity with Spring Security
Experience with IntelliJ
Proficiency with GitHub
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of AWS cloud-native services
Experience with Jenkins
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Experience with Liquibase
