Rachel Contracting is a specialty site-work contractor performing earthwork, demolition, and utilities primarily in the Midwest/Central US region. Our team welcomes individuals who are committed to safety, passionate about their work and delivering quality workmanship with integrity and professionalism.Responsibilities and Tasks:Emphasize safety as Rachel's number one value.Assist with the demolition component of a project including interior, selective and total demolition as well as any other necessary civil improvements.Communicate and manage subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays and assure on-time delivery.Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules by way of daily communication with the Project Manager and General Superintendent.Manage a workforce size of approximately 5 to 15 workers (operators and laborers).Assist Project Manager with expediting materials, reading and complete understanding of all project documents.Assure all personnel on the project site are familiar with and adhere to the project safety regulations.Administer the programs and policies of Rachel.Some travel may be required for this position.Position Requirements: Position Qualification Preferences:Minimum of 10 years of diversified experience related to demolitionStrong oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to be a team leader under challenging conditionsProven problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasksWe offer:Competitive SalaryComprehensive Medical, HSA, Dental, and Life Insurance401(k) Plan with Employer Match ComponentCompany Vehicle ProvidedPaid Time OffEqual Opportunity Employer: Rachel Contracting is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.PIaf107142d5ed-25660-36900140
