Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Systems Engineer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:
--- Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible and Chef.
--- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build and deployment processes.
--- Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to support applications and services.
--- Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
--- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing systems.
--- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
--- Stay updated with AWS services, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:
--- 8+ years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Automation Engineer with focus on building platform automation tools.
--- 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
--- 5+ years of experience with Configuration Management such as Chef and Ansible.
--- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or other DevOps tools.
--- Strong understanding of networking, security, and scalability concepts in cloud environments.
--- Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:
--- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
--- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CICD pipelines.
--- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
--- AWS certification (e.g. AWS solution architect)
