biggest health challenges . The Staff Manufacturing Scientist for
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting the daily
production needs of the Reagent manufacturing cell culture work
cell. This position is part of Reagent Operations located in
Chaska, MN and will be a full-time on-site position . At Beckman

diagnosis at a time. You will be a part of the Technical Operations
Team and report to the Manager of Manufacturing Science responsible
for support ing daily production needs and process improvement in
our cell culture manufacturing area. If you thrive in a fast-paced,

chain organization-read on. In this role, you will have the
opportunity to:
- Provide technical expertise and direction in cell culture
manufacturing and address issues as they arise.
- Lead multi-department teams to resolve non-conforming issues
for products, processes, and manufacturability.
- Assess and improve manufacturing processes and systems for
performance, quality, and cost.
- Communicate investigation status and proposals via oral and
written reports; update documentation promptly.
- Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR),
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO requirements. The
essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biology
preferred, with relevant experience: Bachelor's (9+ years),
Master's (7+ years), or Doctoral (4 years) including aseptic
techniques and /or mammalian cell culture.
- Understanding of in vivo and in vitro antibody/antigen
production
- Analytical methods (example: HPLC, Octet)
- Experience with stable cell generation along with clonal
selection It would be a plus if you also possess previous
experience in:
- Project Management experience
- Validation/verification experience and Process transfer
- Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g. FDA, ISO)
with advanced knowledge of cell culture production
- Familiarity with large-scale bioreactor systems The salary
range for this role is $127K-$147K. This is the range that we in
good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this
role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the
future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer

medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
