What You'll Do:
As an Electrical Design Engineer - Water Treatment, you'll have the
opportunity to design, develop, and implement electrical systems
that support the safe and efficient operation of water and
wastewater treatment facilities.
Your responsibilities may include:
Designing power distribution, motor control, lighting, and
automation systems for water treatment facilities.
Developing electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring
plans to support construction and operations.
Conducting load calculations, short circuit analysis, and arc flash
studies to ensure system safety and efficiency.
Selecting and specifying electrical equipment, transformers,
switchgear, and VFDs for optimal plant performance.
Collaborating with civil, mechanical, and process engineers to
integrate electrical systems into overall facility designs.
Ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other industry
standards in all designs.
Supporting construction teams by reviewing submittals, responding
to RFIs, and conducting site inspections.
About You:
Professional Engineer (PE)
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on
water and wastewater treatment projects
Proficiency in Revit, SKM Power Tools, ETAP
Knowledge of low and medium voltage power distribution, motor
controls, SCADA systems, and instrumentation
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and IEEE codes and standards
