Join our team in Minneapolis, MN, a vibrant city known for its rich culture, diverse communities, and beautiful lakes. We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform cytological evaluations and diagnostic testing in GYN, Non-GYN, and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) cytology, including Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE). This role requires expertise in specimen labeling, processing, and identification while ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results.

The position involves working in both inpatient and outpatient lab settings, with potential floating between United Hospital and/or Mercy Hospital to meet facility needs. Candidates must be detail-oriented, proficient in cytological techniques, and comfortable working with advanced diagnostic tools such as the Hologic Imager.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cytological evaluations on GYN and Non-GYN specimens, FNAs, and ROSE procedures.
Conduct Robotic EBUS, regular EBUS, EUS, CT, and Ultrasound-guided procedures.
Operate the Hologic Imager for cytology analysis.
Ensure accurate specimen labeling and identification to maintain quality control.
Collaborate with pathologists and medical staff to provide timely and precise diagnostic results.
Maintain compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
Document findings in Excellian/Epic electronic health records (EHR) system.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year (First-time travelers accepted)
Certification: ASCP-CT required
License: Pending license accepted
Locals: Not accepted (must live 100 miles away from the facility)
