Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Minimum 2 years with Pediatrics (PEDS), Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) License: Minnesota license required Certifications: Valid certifications required for practice Must-Have: - Ability to work in PEDS, NICU, and PICU settings - Credentialing completed one week before start Job Description: - Participate in the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. - Ensure accurate and comprehensive patient documentation and records. - Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare teams. - Uphold patient care standards and adhere to protocols. - Adapt to the demands of rotating weekend shifts. - Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance skills. Additional Information: - Initial 6 hours of orientation are non-billable - Cancelation notice required: 7 days pre-start for local clinicians, 30 days for travel clinicians Note: The position requires flexibility and dedication to meet the needs of the patients and the healthcare team.
