challenges. The Manufacturing Scientist II for Beckman Coulter
Diagnostics is responsible for supporting a project manager with
deliverables required to transfer new reagent products into
manufacturing.This position is part of the New Product Integration
team located in Chaska, MN, and will be an on-site position. At

Product Integration team and report to the Manager, New Product
Integration, responsible for new reagent product transfer into

on.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Partner with New Product Integration project managers and
R&D teams to assess manufacturability throughout the Innovation
Development Process of new immunoassay reagent products
- Coordinate or participate in translating assay designs into
manufacturing documentation (i.e., Standard Operating Procedures,
Product Labeling, Material Specification Sheet, Oracle Item
Masters/Routings/Bill of Materials, etc.)
- Coordinate or participate in operations-related activities
required for the transfer of new products to routine production,
such as scale-up, process validation, and test method
validation.
- Participate in New Product Integration process continuous
improvement efforts.The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering with 2+ years
of experience OR Master's degree in field
- Experience in implementing continuous process improvements,
with a track record of measurable enhancements in efficiency or
productivity
- Experience with one or more of the NPI critical processes (cell
culture, protein purification, paramagnetic particle coupling,
conjugation, calibrator, change order, and/or control
preparation)It would be a plus if you also possess previous
experience in:
- Project Management and Daily Management best practices
- Experience working against tight deadlines
- Experience with Immunoassay diagnostics within a manufacturing
environmentThe salary range for this role is 74-90K . This is the
range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible
compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range
may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for
bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits
